Unless this is some sort of ellaborate practical joke on the part of one of my many mortal enemies, it seems Wizard Magazine has picked me as their writer of the year for 2008, which is incredibly flattering and a bit suprising. Over the course of 2008, I had my characters blow themselves up, smoke black tar heroin, fuck each other, fuck a dead dog, eat human flesh, slap nuns, punch nurses, terrorize teenage girls with giant birds, fight a bear, shoot children, decapitate Skrulls, yank eyeballs out, drink excessively, brood, curse, piss on fresh graves and beat someone unconscious with a Bible. Just goes to show I guess, folks like feel-good stories. Look for 2009 to be way bigger and better. But probably with less beastiality (sory, Jock).
