  Vertigo makes a good showing in the Best New Series category, with Unknown Soldier and Madame Xanadu also nominated.

  Standard Attrition crapped out at the Eisners, but congrats to everybody who won, especially the twins, Gabriel and Fabio, who both gave great speeches. And also a shout-out to Len Wein’s jacket, which should have been given a special Eisner of its own.
